Regret and Trust

For some reason these are the two things that are on my mind right now. Regret and Trust. Regret is always the last thing anyone wants to feel. (Next to pain) Regret: when you've done something you wish you hadn't or hadn't done something you wished you had. It seems to fill you and stay with you for days, even weeks. It keeps you from doing the things you love or not allowing you to be happy. Its close to depression I guess, if you really think about it. Eventually it leaves you, just never soon enough it seems. Just when you think you've gotten over it and you're going to be okay, something pops up that reminds you of that situation that you regret so much.

Trust: reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
The real definition of trust. Since its confidence and reliance on someone or some thing, when you lose trust in that person or thing, you've lost a lot. It's especially hard to for that person or thing to gain back your trust, it takes time to build back up that confidence and reliance. So be careful when you say things to your friends or family, or when making decisions; you don't want to regret it later. Be careful too, when sharing those 'secrets' with you friends, or with family; think about that trust and how valuable it really is.
